I discovered this world was not designed for parents who want to experience it with their children.
Founded by Maria, a mother to Benjamin and an expat who has lived in numerous countries over the past decade, ilo was born from her personal challenges of traveling with a young child. As her daily life involved constant travel, it became increasingly difficult when her son was born. This inspired Maria to create ilo, ensuring that parents can find the perfect balance between relaxation and family time.
Our team is composed entirely of parents or professionals who specialize in services tailored to parents, ensuring that every detail of your experience is designed with your needs in mind.

Maria Grabowska
She is the one running our operations. Bookings, destinations and activities for parents are managed by her.
CO-FOUNDER & CHILDCARE
Emily Sitch
She is our Mary Poppins. Emily has over 10 years of experience teaching and working with children. She has worked in schools and nurseries across the UK and Denmark and specializes in the Montessori approach. Emily is responsible for creating the baby and toddler spaces during our retreats and selects the team that will ensure our little travelers are on a fantastic adventure of their own.

Manon Lavaud
French private chef offering personalized, authentic and highly nutritious meals in Texas, sourced sustainably through local farms.
Beyond the personal chef experience, she specializes in catering and event services. Whether a small gathering or a large celebration, each event is treated with the same attention to detail and passion for food. She works closely with clients to design menus that reflect the occasion. Along with this, I have also started my own mom meal program in Austin to cater to moms nutritional needs.
LEAD OF EDUCATION
Alex Lawson
Alex is a Montessori directress and has worked with children for over 18 years, both in the UK and at summer camps in the USA. For 13 years, she has specialised in Montessori education and working with children under 6 in nurseries and schools across London. She is passionate about empowering young children and helping to develop their self-confidence and independence gently and encouragingly. She works with multiple families, helping to support them and their children to further incorporate Montessori philosophies into their home and their lives. Alex truly believes in building solid foundations for young children, to grow up into more confident and capable young adults
